Govinda Madhava is a researcher and audio DSP engineer with experience spanning spatial audio for wearables, automotive engine audio analysis, and large-scale audio dataset curation. At the CCML lab under Prof. Claire Arthur, Govinda is exploring visualization of Indian music to help students get better at improvised music.

A professional Carnatic violinist, he was awarded a direct ‘A’ grade from All India Radio (AIR), an achievement only bestowed upon a handful instrumentalists in its 90 year history.
