Kanchan Raju is a researcher, dancer, pianist, and producer born and raised in the Bay Area, CA. She received her degree in Cognitive Science with minors in Statistics & Data Science and Music Industry from UCLA in 2024, and has since built a career as a UX researcher at Apple, ServiceNow, and Blink UX.

Outside of her research, Kanchan is a professional dancer and freelance musician specializing in mixing of house, hip hop, and contemporary with traditional Indian classical genres. Her work, both in research and performance, is rooted in the intentional fusion of Indian and Western artforms to amplify the voices of the South Asian diaspora.
