This week, the Society for Music Perception and Cognition held its national meeting in Banff, Alberta. The CCML lab presented three papers, one poster, and one symposium, including work by Qianyi, Farshad, Nat, and Claire. Last but not least, recently graduated BSMT student Natanya Norry killed it in her presentation of her (and Ray Fairbank’s) capstone project “What Makes a Synthesizer Sound Sparkly? Inventory of Timbral Associations.”
