In July 2025, the International Conference on Music Perception and Cognition held it’s biannual meeting in São Paulo, Brazil. The CCML lab had a big presence at the conference this year, with John, Pey, Alexey, Nat, and two undergraduate capstone students—Michael Thomasson and Leah Lassiter—all attending and presenting work! Nat and Peyman both gave talks about their recent experimental work. Alexey and John gave their own poster talks, while Leah and Michael gave a poster as a team (shout out to their third team member, Jiexi Li, who was not able to attend). All the talks and posters were well attended and well received!
